The low-profile Aquascape Submersible Pond Filter provides exceptional biological and mechanical filtration in large outdoor ponds up to 800 gallons. The unit can be quickly and easily attached to virtually any submersible water pump and features a large surface, removable cage sits on top of the filter to ensure that large debris such as sticks and leaves are not trapped and clogged in the filter. Additionally, the filter contains a pre-filtration sponge pack that is excellent at capturing smaller debris missed by the protective cage. Ceramic filtration rings with a large surface area have been added inside of the unit itself to cultivate and increase the viability of beneficial bacteria, creating a significantly healthier environment for both plants and animals alike. A threaded intake and multi-hose adapter ensures that the Aquascape Submersible Pond Filter is compatible for the vast majority of pond pumps with a small piece of pipe or 3/4 inch threaded fitting, making it one of the most versatile and user-friendly filters on the market.
