The rubber lip or Bulldog Pleco, is a peaceful, small, 4-7 inch, algae-eating freshwater fish ideal for 20-30+ gallon community tanks. Native to fast-flowing South American rivers, they thrive in high-oxygen, cooler water (65-78°F) with strong filtration. They are excellent, hardy algae cleaners, consuming diatoms and biofilm.
