Cichlid Taiwan Reef

The Taiwan Reef Cichlid (Protomelas steveni ‘Taiwan Reef’) is a stunning, vibrant African cichlid from Lake Malawi, famous for the male’s electric blue, yellow, and red colors, not from Taiwan but a reef there; they need large, rocky tanks with caves, prefer veggie-rich diets (algae wafers), are maternal mouthbrooders, and can be territorial, best kept in groups with lots of space to avoid aggression.
