Aiptasia-eating filefish (also called Matted Leatherjacket or Bristletail Filefish) are a popular choice for controlling nuisance Aiptasia anemones in saltwater aquariums. They are known to eat Aiptasia, but they are not always 100% effective, may also nip at corals or other invertebrates, and should be fed a balanced diet. A backup removal plan for Aiptasia is a good idea, as not every individual fish will take to eating them.
