An Aberrant Scopas Tang, also known as a Koi Scopas Tang, is a rare, naturally occurring color variation of the common Brown Scopas Tang Zebrasoma scopas, prized in saltwater aquariums for its unique, unpredictable patterns of yellow, white, black, or blue, resembling koi fish, and sourced from the Java region of Indonesia. These wild-caught tangs are famous for their shifting colors, sometimes even reverting to normal, and are considered showpiece fish due to their distinct beauty and smaller size compared to other tangs.
